Education: Ontario Veterinary College
Pets: Leo, Maggie and Scarlet
Dr. Warren graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1998. After graduation he started working at Southdown Animal Clinic, alongside his father, Dr. Don Warren. In February 2000, Drs. D Warren and B Warren acquired the Oakville Animal Clinic from long time owner, practitioner and friend Dr. F.G Badame. Dr. Warren was ecstatic to have the opportunity to practice in his birth place, Oakville, and has been hospital director at the Oakville Animal Clinic since this time.
During his sixteen years of veterinary practice, Dr. Warren has enjoyed the many facets it has to offer. Special interests include wellness and preventative care, client communication and education, oncology care, hospital management and a very particular interest in orthopedics. Dr. Warren has spent a lot of time furthering his education since graduation; of special interest has been the courses he has taken in orthopedics. The TPLO course by Slocum in Eugene Oregon, and the principles and advanced orthopedics courses by Synthes Vet/AO Foundation have been some of his favourites.
When not practicing veterinary medicine Dr. Warren loves spending time with family (including his wife, son, daughter and pets), enjoying mother nature and playing sports, especially running and hockey. Dr. Warren currently has a Golden Retriever named Leo, (whose picture is featured in many photos on this website), and 2 domestic long haired cats named Maggie and Scarlett.
Dr. Warren feels blessed to a part of this rewarding profession. He especially loves having the opportunity to share ideas, treatment plans and information with the veterinary team at the Oakville Animal Clinic including his father. He is proud of the team that the Oakville Animal Clinic has acquired and looks forward to coming to our hospital each and every day.
