Education: Ontario Veterinary College
Dr. Baird graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2004, after completing an Honours Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Guelph. She joined the dynamic team at Oakville Animal Clinic immediately after graduation. Dr. Baird enjoys all facets of veterinary medicine and is grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the bond between people and their pets. Her special interests in veterinary medicine include internal medicine, nutrition, and pain management, and she especially enjoys helping educate clients to become involved in the health care of their pet. Always eager to learn new information and techniques, Dr. Baird has participated in many continuing education courses and conferences since graduation, including Lifelearn’s ultrasonography course.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Baird enjoys spending time with family and friends, as well running, biking, and competing in sprint distance triathlons. She shares her home with her husband, their son, their dog Kayley (a Labrador retriever), two cats Jax and Mowgli, and Finn, a 3 legged cat adopted from the Oakville Milton Humane Society!
